Cecelia LePage has spent almost 20 full years getting people off of cigarettes, and developing this wonderful program. Cecelia moved to Virginia from West Virginia in 1970 with a husband and five children. After a divorce and the death of her father, her mother, Juanita LePage, came to live with her in Chesterfield. Juanita knew that Cecelia needed help to finish raising those five children.

It was very important to Cecelia to leave this world a better place, and Juanita encouraged her to " do something " towards that goal. Having worked in lots of areas of tobacco, Cecelia knew that smoking was a terrible disease that robbed people of their health, their wealth, their looks, and eventually their life. She saw people she loved die from cigarette related diseases. She felt strongly that something had to be done.

Even though there were seven tobacco companies in town, Cecelia started a smoking cessation program in Chesterfield, Virginia in May of 1983. Juanita played an indispensable supportive role. On one occasion in particular, when Cecelia was feeling afraid, she said to her mother, "Mom, if I go down you go with me." Juanita looked her daughter straight in the eyes and said, "Do I look worried?" She not only was there with support and encouragement, but she was there to do any of the physical work she could. Juanita had smoked for 44 years, two packs a day. She was starting to have problems because of it. In all, she had two throat cancers, was legally blind, and only had one lung in the end. But until she lost the lung she was out putting out brochures. Cecelia would drive; after all, her mother was legally blind, (She only had peripheral vision.) She would then hand her mother brochures out the window, and would watch what door she went in, to make sure she came out the same door so she could find the car. Cecelia and her mother were very close. Together they helped thousands of people just like you off of cigarettes. In the year 2000 Juanita laid her burden down and passed on from this world. Cecelia continues with the program trying to reach the millions of smokers out there that need to quit smoking cigarettes. She does many different things to reach smokers. She has a personal “hands on” program as well as a home study course. She goes out countrywide any time for five or more people that need her. She also takes this program to many different companies. If they wish she even trains one of their personnel to run future programs for the company. And at current standing, she's preparing an online interactive system so that she can be even closer to the people she loves. (You, the smoker.)
